I was going to title this, "one week down" (because we have been here for one full week) but decided that sounded like i don't want to be here

hope you guys enjoy the pictures. and i hope they dont seem like we are on a vacation. one of the pictures is the entrance to the bars and the others are of our adventure at the floating market.

Wow... I just love the fact that you are documenting this trip with the pictures of a people and their culture you were both called to serve. I'm encouraged to share your trip with many who simply do not know of all that goes on in places such as Thailand...
Praying that you find His grace and peace sufficient for each day your there.

good thing you took a picture of the bar before you went in - if you waited til afterwards you would have forgotten to do it

car,
i am so excited you are a part of something you have developed such a passion for- even though the language is a barrier, i am certain the Lord will use you to make a difference, and i am so excited for you to continue learning all about it so you can continue to spread your passion for helping these people with others. love you!

So I took a fun little pic today and if I can figure out how I will send it to you. We had a little touch of fall weather today here in Riverside so everybody came dressed in sweaters and such. Janelle F was wearing a brown shirt with a gold sweater. She was in our office chatting over by the copy machine which is one of the places we have your prayer card ... as we were talking Shannen Norman and I noticed that she was dressed almost identical to what you are wearing on your prayer card. So I took a pic of JF holding the card. It made me happy and made me laugh! Miss ya!
